ABSTRACTInelastic longitudinal electron scattering form factors C2 transitions have been studied in and   nuclei with the aid of shell model calculations. The core polarization transition density was evaluated by adopting the shape of Tassie model togther with the derived form of the ground state two-body charge density distributions (2BCDD’s). click here
The following transitions have been investigated;   of  and  1/2– 1/2 3/2, 1/2 of  nuclei. It is found that the core polarization effects, which represent the collective modes, are essential for reproducing a remarkable agreement between the calculated inelastic longitudinal C2 form factors and those of experimental data.KEYWORDS: Inelastic longitudinal form factors, two-body charge density and core polarization effects.

ABSTRACTGood implementation of posyandu will have an impact on meeting the basic needs of the use of posyandu for child development. Good performance for posyandu shows better service to the community. Based on data, posyandu strata in Tanah Bumbu Regency consist of Primary strata 17.03%, Intermediate Strata 44%, Purnama Strata 31.12%, and Mandiri Strata 7.85%. This study aims to analyze the factors that affect the performance of posyandu in Tanah Bumbu Regency. click here
This study was an observational analytic study with a cross sectional study design. Sample of 65 cadre coordinators using Stratified Random Sampling. The research instrument used a questioner. Analysis of the data by descriptive and statistical are chi square and multiple regression logistic.  The results showed that Posyandu whose members received training would perform well (p = 0,000). Posyandu whose members are getting rewards according to their performance standards will be compliant (p = 0.023). Posyandu which infrastructure is complete or supportive would perform well (p = 0.000). Posyandu which has a combination of financing sources will have good performance (p = 0.013). Analysis using regression logistic multiple shows variabel means of infrastructure (p = 0.003; Exp.B = 13.935), training (p = 0.004; Exp.B = 9,980), rewards (p = 0.009; Exp.B = 11.685) and sources of financing (p = 0.028; Exp.B = 7.168) with a confidence level of 95%. There are the affect of training, rewards, infrastructure and funding sources with Posyandu performance, with the most dominant variabel of infrastructure facilities among the four variabels. KEYWORDS: training, rewards, facility infrastructure, sources of financing, performance integrated healthcare center.

ABSTRACTThis study examined the effects of whistle blowing policy on labour management relations in Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Council of Abia state.. The objective of the research was to find out the effects of whistle blowing policy on violation of government’s financial regulations, misappropriation of public funds and assets, underreporting of revenues and conversion of funds for personal use on indicators of labour management relations: disputes, understanding, cooperation and partnership. click here
Quasi-experimental design was adopted using survey method to take a snapshot at the situation in the organization and analyse same. Purposive/quota sampling technique of non probability sample was adopted with the aide of Taro Yamen’s formula to determine the sample size in eight (8) departments in Isiala North Local Government Council of Abia state. Primary data were obtained through questionnaire while secondary data were obtained from textbooks, internet printout, and journals. Four null hypotheses were tested using spearman’s rank correlation coefficient statistical tools. The findings revealed that the four null hypotheses were rejected which indicated positive significant relationship between whistle blowing policy on violation of government’s financial regulations, misappropriation of public funds and assets, underreporting of revenues and conversion of funds for personal use, and indicators of labour management relations: disputes, understanding, cooperation and partnership. Finally, we recommend that whistle blowing has the possibility to increase accountability and transparency in the management of public funds and develop a corrupt free workforce for positive labour management relations.

ABSTRACTMadhesi  community in spite of having a long history of origin and habitat within the present day Nepal is practically considered outsiders and they have been mostly marginalized and they face serious humanitarian problem i. e of their true identity in their own native land.  This paper examines the different narratives on the ‘Madhesh’ identity , and situates this discourse in the ethno-linguistic mosaic of the Tarai region as well as the larger Nepal Political scenario, by identifying the reasons for their increasing assertiveness in politics .

The paper argues that exploitation and discrimination by the upper caste -Pahadi migrant communities and the Nepali state has played an important role in the consolidation of the Madhesi identity. While the mainstream Madhes parties have adopted a soft stand on the issue , the armed groups are demanding outright ‘independence’. Of late, the Madhesi movement has suffered because of differences between various Madhes groups. Here the study tries to explain Madhes as a region , ethnic Identity of Madhesis, socio- political conditions of Madhesis, perceptions about the Madhesis among the hill people.    KEYWORDS:  Madhes, Madhesi, Madhesi Community, Identity, Ethnic- group, Madhes Parties, Madhesi Movement,  Tarai Region.

ABSTRACTMurshidabad district is the epicenter of beedi industry in West Bengal. In the socio-economic and geographical context, beedi industry is one of the only sources of livelihood for many people in the cottage industry of this district. click here
It goes without saying that the industry and the connected working community are facing problems since its inception as a cottage industry, an essential ingredient for smoking. Since, this industry is an unorganized cottage industry, workers face various issues at work.   No significant solution to the problems of beedi workers in all districts of West Bengal has been done. Their main problem is with wages. This involves various structural problems of this industrial production which have been discussed in this research paper. At the same time, the prospects to reduce of this problem has also been highlighted.KEYWORDS:  Beedi, Murshidabad, workers, tobacco, leaves, wages
