ABSTRACTPrimary cutaneous adenoid-cystic carcinoma (PCACC) is a rare slow-growing neoplasm of disputed histogenesis characterized by nest of basaloid cells forming tubular and cribriform with mucin in cystic space pattern at histology and local aggressive behavior. This tumor is most common in the scalp, affects middle-aged and older individuals (mean age 59) and has predilection for women.   click here
We describe an unexpected case of PCACC in a 75-years-old man referred to our clinic for a subcutaneous nodule in the scalp showing a slow growth and indolent course. The differential diagnosis and the clinical management of this PCACC patient, successfully treated with a wide local excision, are presented and discussed.KEYWORDS : Rare skin tumors, primary cutaneous adenoid-cystic carcinoma, differential diagnosis.

ABSTRACT Background: To study the incidence patterns of clinically benign breast disease in females and to co-relate them with the pathological findings. Methods: This descriptive study was conducted in the Out Patients Department of General Surgery in Medical College Kanpur, India. A routine histopathological examination was done for the core biopsy and the excision biopsy samples and a cytohisto-correlation was also done. The clinical diagnosis, particularly in the case of the benign breast lumps, was compared with the cytological or the histological findings and the accuracy of the clinical diagnosis was evaluated.click here
Results: Out of the 108 female patients who were studied, fibroadenoma, accounted for 44.44% of the cases, which was the highest number of patients. Fibrocystic changes and breast abscesses came next with 16.66% and 9.2% cases respectively. Conclusion: Benign breast diseases are common in female patients and fibroadenoma is the commonest of them all. Triple assessment provided a quick diagnosis and it alleviated unnecessary anxiety from the patients about breast cancer.

Abstract : In recent times, the rising security challenges remain the subject of discussion among scholars, academics, and policymakers in Nigeria. In light of the above, the current study established the link between security challenges and sustainable development using previous studies. Scales and dimensions of security challenges were highlighted in the paper. While acknowledging security challenges to be a global phenomenon, the situation in Nigeria is worrisome. A critical assessment of the causes and dimensions of security challenges were highlighted. The paper also proposes sound business education as a panacea to rising security challenges in Nigeria. Some recommendations offered include; provision of modern equipment, training, and logistics to security personnel; establishment of more business education centers with facilities and qualified staff for effective teaching and learning to take place. Thus, this will ensure that people with business skills establish businesses and be self-reliant to become useful members of society, thereby reducing conflict risk in the country.

ABSTRACT: Referring to the material balance method in oil exploitation, the material balance model of oil supply and oil injection is established.  click here
By restricting the error accuracy of the same period (100 Milliseconds, briefly, 100ms) of the fuel supply and the fuel injection, it is obtained that, at a fixed injection rate, the opening time of oil pump check valve is 0.298ms. Thus, the pressure stability in the high-pressure oil pipe can be precisely controlled. Then, the one-way valve opening strategy is studied, which makes the pressure of high-pressure oil pipe increase from 100 MPa to 150 MPa, and after about 2s, 5s or 10s adjustment respectively, it is stable at 150 MPa.

Hemoglobinwas found abnormal and all the other were normal. Serum Creatinine was found to be 2.9 mcg/dl. The patient was also diagnosed with AKD.When hypertensive patient is also having renal disease with serum creatinine above 2.5 mcg/dl, the drug Telmisartan (40 mg) will be ineffective. Then the choice of drug can be Amlodipine 10 mg.
