Abstract : An overview of the applicability of X-ray fluorescence (XRF) as a tool for non-destructive investigations of objects of art and archaeology is discussed. X-ray fluorescence (XRF) is a standard technique widely used and accepted by art historians, archaeologists, curators and conservators.  click here
 Synchrotron radiation was applied for the analysis of photo graphic prints, liquid samples, glass artifacts and coins. AbstractThis study focused on Leadership Style, Employee Motivation and Commitment: Empirical Evidence from a Consolidated Organization in a Meltdown Economy. The study took a descriptive survey approach. The study covered a population of 2912 employees drawn from Nigerian breweries and Starline Nigeria limited, Aba, Abia State. Taro Yamene was used to draw a sample of 352 members of staff from the population and the reliability of the research instrument was ascertained using spearman rank correlation coefficient (r) which yielded a 0.93 (93%). click here
 Data was sourced from the 350 completed and returned five point likert scale questionnaire out of the 352 administered on the staff members of Nigerian breweries and Starline Nigeria limited, Aba. The data gathered was analyzed with non-parametric kruskawalis test (H) using the 20.0 version of statistical package for social sciences (SPSS). It is concluded in this study that the type of leadership style adopted by organizations has significant effect on the motivation and commitment of the employees. However, the empirical evidence obtained from the data analyzed shows that the effect of leadership style is more manifest on employees’ commitment than it is on their motivation Sequel to the findings and conclusion above, it was recommended that; Organizations should adopt an integrative approach to leadership in order to maximize the strengths of the different styles and that Choice of leadership should not be universally adopted but be made a function of situations and the intended goals of the organization at any given time.

Abstract : This paper is centered on the study of retirement stress and management strategies among civil servants. This study is interested in establishing whether effective retirement plan help to reduce retirement stress. The research design adopted for the study is a descriptive survey design. Questionnaire was used to collect relevant data. Simple percentage and chi – square statistics were used to analyze the data collected. click here
 The findings of the study include the fact that retired civil servants are experiencing stressful retirement from ten different sources, the main one being financial insufficiency. It was found that effective retirement plan help to reduce retirement stress. It was recommended that skills should be incorporated into the induction – training programs of all employees. Abstract : This paper focused on The Role of Nigerian Government in Encouraging Entrepreneurship Development for Nigeria Economic Diversification.  Taro Yamene was used to select a sample of 63 respondents from the population and the data gathered through the questionnaire was analyzed and hypotheses tested using the non-parametric one sample Wilcoxon sign test (W) with the aid of statistical package for social sciences (SPSS 20.0 Version). The study concludes that while government is investing in diverse sectors, it is important that requisite economic skill be developed and entrenched among the citizenry through entrepreneurship development. The paper therefore recommended that Government provision of skill acquisition should be made more professional and specialized to reflect critical industry needs. This will ensure the inclusion of Nigerians in critical industries that drives the economy, there should be a deliberate and conscientious effort at promoting local SMEs through government patronage and that Government should as a matter of urgency bridge infrastructural gap especially power supply to ensure that entrepreneurs in Nigeria manufacture their products at a competitive rate.

Abstract : This paper examined the Effects of E-Commerce on Auditing Practices of Selected Firms in Rivers State. The research design for this study is the survey research design. However, the major instrument for data collection was a five point likert scale questionnaire titled e-commerce and auditing practices questionnaire (ECO&APQ). The Spearman rank correlation coefficient (r) was used to calculate the reliability index. The statistical tools used for data analysis are: simple percentage (%) and kruskawalis test (H) using the Minitab software. The major findings revealed that the p-value for both hypotheses were below 0.05 (i.e 00.0<0.05, 0.00<0.05) respectively hence; it was concluded that to maintain the accuracy and integrity report, auditors need to acquire knowledge on how to apply e-transaction data in preparing their report. The researchers recommend that; E-commerce skill development should be made an invaluable component of auditors training programmes, Organizations should establish robust electronic accounting information collection, collation and dissemination system. Abstract : This study focused on integrated customer relationship marketing and the performance of micro-finance banks. The survey research design was used and the study covered a sample size of 183 personnel.  The data used in this study was generated majorly from a five point likert scale questionnaire titled integrated customer relationship marketing and bank performance questionnaire (ICRMandBPQ) while the statistical tool used for data analysis is the t-test using the 20.0 version of statistical package for social sciences (SPSS).  click here
 The major finding shows that integrated customer relationship marketing (ICRM) has significant effect on the performance of micro-finance banks. In hypothesis one, the SPSS output shows that the p-value (sig 2-tailed) is 0.001 while in hypothesis two it was 0.000. The study asserts that the innovation that will drive sustainable performance of micro-finance banks in future are those that originates from the customer’s needs. It was therefore recommended that micro-finance banks should adopt both regulatory policy such as know your customer (KYC) policy of the CBN and market engineered techniques for the proper understanding of the customers and the deepening of quality customer relationship. Abstract : This study examined the effects of competitive goals in the realization of career success in the state public service of Abia state.  The findings revealed that competitive goals have effects on the career success of state public service in Abia state. Abstract: This is a cross-sectional study conducted in Kosti Locality rural area – White Nile State, Sudan during the period of (June 2011- June 2012). Study aimed to determine the prevalence of Schistosoma haematobium among pupils, identify the most affected age group, and determine the effect of knowledge on prevalence and to assess the playing and swimming at the canal as risk factor influencing the spread of the disease.  click here
 At two basic schools pupils were examined using urine reagent strip. A total of 200 pupils were interviewed using questionnaire to assess risk factors related to Schistosomiasis. The prevalence of infection was found significantly higher among boys compared to girls (P ≤ 0.05), No significantly different between age groups (P ≥ 0.05) and No significantly different according to the knowledge of respondents about Schistosoma haematobium (P ≥ 0.05). The study concluded that the prevalence of the diseases is area was 18.4%, and it was especially high among male in the school age and the study recommended extensive health education program and provision of sanitation facilities in the area.Keywords: Schistosoma haematobium, school children, White Nile State, Sudan.
