It is bounded between 360 30’00” to 36045’00’’longitude and 9005’00’’ to 9015’00’’ latitude. The area is covered by exposure of volcanic rock and some of quaternary sedimentary rock. Rainfall and snow are a natural source of ground water by percolating through soil zone and unsaturated material. click here The main objectives of this study are to evaluate the role of geological structures, geomorphological features and surface design on the occurrence of ground water flow. The methodology used to study the area is pre-, and post- during field work by using different geological, geomorphological methods to determine the geomorphic feature and geological structures such as, lineaments and tectonic structure (joint, fracture and dykes) and geospatial method using (Arc GIS software) to determine DEM (Digital Elevation Model), slope and aspects of study area. The majority land of the study area is covered by volcanic rock units having dendrite drainage patterns, dome shape and flat land forms. The aim of the study is to assess the physico- chemical parameters of subsurface water quality with special constituent level of major and trace elements concentrations, distributions and identifies the possible of water source in relation to domestic and agricultural purposes. The geological setting of the area consists of exposure of volcanic rocks that cover the sediment part and quaternary sediments. click here Rain fall is a vital source of subsurface water by infiltration and percolation through the soil zone; and unsaturated materials chemically reacted with the gases, minerals and organic compounds that occur naturally within subsurface. The physico- chemical characteristics of sub surface water samples have been determined according to the standard methods of APHA and identify the chemical composition of ground water sample analysis and interpretation, like pH, EC, Cl, HCO3,F, NO3,TDS, SO4, Ca, Mg, Na, and K which are related to solid water interaction. By using laboratory test the physical and chemical characteristics of subsurface water samples have been determined according national and international standards such like WHO for drinking water and there major and trace element concentrations are compared with the maximum acceptable concentration standards. Sixteen potato cultivars SS 70-4, FD-74-24, FSD white, FD 72-42, N 96-25, FD 74-30, Coroda, FD 71-1, FD 78-36, FD 78-15, FD 81, FD 74-21, FD 76-67, FD 74-47, FD 75-47 and FD 69-1 were screened under natural field conditions to identify resistance source against PLRV. Symptomatic appearance was the criteria to confirm the disease. click here Statistical analysis was performed to get the scientific results. Out of sixteen varieties five varieties FD 72-47, N96-25, FD-81, FD 74-21 and FD 75-47 were found highly resistant showing 0.00%, 0.00%, 0.13%, 0.40% and 0.00% disease incidence respectively, four varieties FSD White, FD 74-30, FD 74-47 and FD 69-1 were resistant exhibiting 13%, 18%, 14% and 18% disease incidence respectively, three varieties including Coroda, FD 78-15 and FD 76-67 were moderately resistant with 24%, 28% and 28% disease incidence, three varieties FD 74-24, FD 71-1 and FD 78-36 were moderately susceptible showing 30%, 34%, and 37% disease incidence and only one variety SS 70-4 exhibited highly susceptible results with 60% disease incidence. Okra Yellow Vein Mosaic Virus (OYVMV) is devastating pathogen of Okra, significantly lowers the yield upto 94%. 19 varieties/cultivars were screened against OYVMV during the year of 2015 and 2016. click here Out of 19 varieties/cultivars, no variety/cultivar showed resistant response against the virus. Only eight (sabzpari, arka, ok-152, ok-1304, kiran, sabzpari, ok-411 and kashish) varieties/lines showed tolerant reaction against OYVMV. Ok-1305, Anarkali, ok-407 and Anmol displayed moderately susceptible reaction against the virus. Five varieties/cultivars (saneum, ikra, Shakti, ok-1312 and ok- 1314) depicted as susceptible reaction. Ok- 1314 and ok-1314 came out as highly susceptible during the both years. It is estimated that the total number of students graduating from high schools each year in the UAE is around 20,000. UAE has quite a large number universities and colleges. Sixty percent of Dubai based universities are inside the free zones and the universities that offer more than 400 programs. As per the latest statistics, it is estimated that around 75,000 students are enrolled in Higher Education Institutions (HEI) in Dubai and Abu Dhabi alone. If the numbers from other Emirates are computed then it is definitely soaring. The school enrolments growing at 10% every year and the growing attractiveness of UAE as destination for investors in the field of Higher Education promises UAE tremendous opportunities in future. Internationally a trend to invest more in the Higher Education sector is seen as a measure to ensure the economies develop sustainably and healthy with the establishment of Higher Education sectors in alignment with the growth of economy. However, knowing the effect of Higher Education investment and how to evaluate higher education investment are not well researched. Based on the economic and Higher Education statistics, this study aims to assess the Higher Education investment efficiency of UAE and to establish a more comprehensive and practical model to evaluate the investment efficiency of Higher Education in UAE. In this the use of induction motor requires implementing of multilevel inverter supplied by DC voltage source and switched using three level space vector PWM. In this paper a technique is implemented for a better control for electric vehicle using induction motor drives. click here Multilevel inverter have less distortion and Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) of output voltages compared to other inverters. SVPWM generates the required gate drive waveform for each PWM cycle. The inverter is treated as one single unit and can combine different switching states (number of switching states depends on levels). The model of the multilevel inverter system is fed with SVM method to control the induction motor for electric vehicle applications.The simulations are performed using MATLAB/SIMULINK software and the results are presented.
